Event Details

The WV Division of Forestry, USDA-FS, Central Appalachian Red Spruce Initiative (CASRI) are sponsoring a red spruce planting on the Kumbrabow State Forest this Saturday, May 1. The event will start at 9:00 a.m. at the Meatbox picnic area on Kumbrabow for a meet and greet and educational talk, then we will proceed to the intersection of Kumbrabow road and Turkeybone to plant the seedlings. The public is welcome. Come dressed for the weather. Lunch is provided.
